How long does it take?

Treatments are delivered by highly trained, fully qualified, and insured therapists in our doctor-led clinic, with full clinical oversight from Dr Amanda.
Recovery
Most clients experience little to no downtime following a facial and can return to normal activities immediately.
However, as every skin type responds differently, some temporary redness, sensitivity or mild breakouts can occur.
This is often due to increased cell turnover and stimulation of the skin, which may bring underlying congestion to the surface – sometimes referred to as “purging” and is usually short-lived.
To reduce the risk of irritation, clients should discontinue the use of active skincare products for at least five days prior to treatment, including prescription retinoids such as Tretinoin, over-the-counter retinol or retinal products and exfoliating acids such as AHA and BHA.
This treatment is not suitable for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Personalised aftercare advice will be provided to support optimal healing and results.
