MAP MY MOLE IN PETERSFIELD
Mole Checks in Petersfield, Hampshire
Concerned about a mole or skin lesion? Hampshire Dermal Aesthetics in Petersfield offers Map My Mole, a digital mole and skin lesion assessment service that allows your images to be reviewed remotely by a UK consultant dermatologist.
Using specialist dermatoscope imaging, we capture detailed images of the mole or skin lesion you are concerned about. Your images and relevant information are then securely submitted through Map My Mole for review by a consultant dermatologist, who provides a digital report with their opinion and advice on the appropriate next steps.
What types of skin lesions can be assessed?
Map My Mole can be used to assess a range of moles and skin lesions that you may be concerned about, including new or changing moles, pigmented lesions, unusual-looking moles, seborrhoeic keratoses, sebaceous lesions, dermatofibromas and other skin growths or lesions.
It can be particularly useful if you have noticed a lesion that has changed in size, shape, colour or appearance, or a lesion that you simply feel is different or unusual for your skin.
An independent consultant dermatologist will assess the images and information provided and advise on the appropriate next steps. This may include reassurance and monitoring, or a recommendation to seek further assessment through your GP or a dermatologist where appropriate.
Reports are typically returned within 24–48 hours, although this can vary.

So pleased to have found Hampshire Dermal Aesthetics. Dr Amanda and her team are truly amazing! I’ve had a few treatments here now and every time Dr Amanda has made me feel completely at ease, listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and explained every treatment clearly, answering any queries I had. Dr Amanda is also a true perfectionist - she takes so much care to make sure everything is right rather than rushing or over-treating. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face and delighted with the results! Thank you HDAPosted on Google![]()

I recently came to see Amanda for some advise on a mole on my face that had been causing me some concern. Using her incredible new piece of technology called 'Map my Mole' a series of photos were taken by a device attached to her phone and immediately sent off to a Consultant Dermatologist. Within 24 hours I received a full report and initial diagnosis which in this case meant I was given peace of mind that the skin issue was not too serious and Amanda could go ahead and treat it with her in-clinic Cryo Pen. It is a fantastic service and I would urge anyone who is worrying on their own to go and get checked out! Many thanks to Amanda for all her care and swift action.Posted on Google![]()

I’ve had a couple of appointments with Dr Amanda at Hampshire Dermal Aesthetics, including cryotherapy, and have been extremely impressed. Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and reassuring, and having a doctor with her medical background and expertise makes a real difference. I’m also hugely grateful to Amanda for something she spotted when my partner saw her about a small lesion near his eye. Rather than simply removing it, she advised him to have it medically checked. It was subsequently diagnosed as a basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and has since been successfully removed by the NHS. Thanks to Amanda’s expertise and caution, it was picked up early and has thankfully caused no long-term issues. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amanda and the practice. Excellent care, very professional and, in our experience, her medical expertise has been invaluable. A huge thank you from both of us.Posted on Google![]()

I’ve had an amazing experience using this dermatologist! Amanda, Natalie and Mia are always so welcoming, and the space is beautiful and clean. I went in originally as I wanted clearer skin, they gave me a face scan, a new routine (which they kept as cost effective as possible for me), and sent over all the information I needed every time. My skin is clearer than ever and I’m so happy with the results. Thank you again guys, I’m looking forward to my next visit!
